Join AYBT dancers at Barnes & Noble (Noblesville) as they read, do crafts, have fun, and dance for young readers and aspiring authors.  Joining us for the book fair is our own David Murphy (grandpa in this year's The Nutcracker) who will be speaking to young authors and signing his newest book "Murder in Their Hearts: A Story of the Fall Creek Massacre."  All proceeds benefit AYBT's trip TO RDA Festival 2011.

David T. Murphy

Murder in Their Hearts: The Fall Creek Massacre
describes a chilling episode in Indiana history. Although violence between settlers and Native Americans was not unusual in the Old Northwest Territory during the early nineteenth century, in this particular incident the white men responsible for the murders were singled out and hunted down, brought to trial, convicted by a jury of their neighbors, and, for the first time under American law, sentenced to death and executed for the murder of Native Americans.
